Writings From Jan Mitchell - Stories of the Land and Sea

In The Press

Reviews

Jan writes in a straightforward easy to read manner, yet the imagery she creates with her words transports you with her and closing your eyes you can even feel the motion as Osprey A moves with the wind and waves. Personally, I found Jan and Ian’s sailing chronicle immensely interesting and like all the best books, hard to put down.

Bruce Walker

Former book reviewer for the Cruising Helmsman.

A first class, well written book by people who dared to sail around the world in a 25 foot boat. 'Two in a Top Hat' is easy to read, informative and should provide inspiration to those who aspire to travel the globe in a small boat. The book is also a testament to the Top Hat, a diminutive, GRP constructed full keel sailing yacht with the inherent strength to tackle the worlds oceans. Highly recommended.

Just finished reading all three of your sailing books.
Wow!
What great adventures you guys had.  Especially at the beginning with Caprice.  Relatively inexperienced but you achieved a circumnavigation.
All three books are inspiring.

Thanks for the great reading!
